Things are taking a dark turn with this week’s BitLife challenge, the Pushing Roses challenge. For this challenge, we’re going to dabble in a bit of matricide, so we’ll help you tap into your killer instinct with our BitLife guide on how to complete the Pushing Roses challenge.
How to Complete All Objectives of the Pushing Roses Challenge in BitLife
BitLife‘s recent challenges have a fair amount of murder involved, like last week’s Model Mischief challenge. For the curious ones, this week’s Pushing Roses challenge is based on the tragic real-life case of Gypsy-Rose Blanchard. To complete the challenge, we need to fulfill the following objectives:
- Be born a female in Louisiana
- Murder your mother at Age 23
- Go to prison for 10 years
- Marry someone within 2 years of leaving prison
- Write a memoir after leaving prison
How to be Born a Female in Louisiana
Start BitLife, and then start a new life. Your existing life is saved in a different slot that you can load back up at any time, so don’t worry if you’re already playing through a life.
As you’re creating your new character, set your gender to female, your country to the United States, and your place to New Orleans, which is the largest city in Louisiana.
Here’s a small tip if you own God Mode: Set Crime as your special talent. Having the Crime special talent will make the later objectives much easier.
How to Murder your Mother at Age 23
Before we start this section, it’s important to note that your early life should be as normal as possible. Do well in school, as you’ll want to go to university. When you do, be sure to set English as your major, as this makes a later objective easier.
We swear these BitLife challenges are going to get us on some government watch list. Anyways, this objective is very straightforward—as soon as you turn 23, you have to off your mom in whatever way you want.
Your age is a crucial factor here, because waiting before or after you’re 23 will fail this objective. You’ve got only shot at this, so make sure you don’t screw it up.
Keep attacking your mother if your initial attempts fail. Eventually you’ll get her, and hopefully you’re caught, which leads into the next objective of this challenge. If you get away with the murder, then try any major crime like another murder or a bank robbery, because we need to get tried for a long sentence.
How to go to Prison for 10 Years
Before we get started with the next objective, it’s important to build up some money here. We have to buy a ring to propose with later, and they can be somewhat expensive. You won’t have much time after you’re out of prison, so now’s a good time to earn some cash.
When you’re ready, go ahead and terrorize the world with your crimes until you’re eventually caught by the police. Hopefully, whatever crime you got caught for was big, because that makes your starting sentence high.
You’re given the option to buy lawyers before your trial. Don’t pick any of the expensive lawyers here; just go for the public defender, and then make sure to plea not guilty, as this has a chance to add some years onto your sentence.
Don’t worry if your initial sentence isn’t 10 years, because you can extend your sentence when you’re in prison by fumbling an escape attempt. You can attempt one escape per year. No matter how you get there, you just need to spend at least 10 years in prison.
During your stay in prison, be good and cooperate. You don’t need to cause anymore trouble from this point on, so spend some time to yourself, take up a prison job, and be nice to others. The parole board might ask if you feel like you’ve changed, but make sure to pick a bad answer, because being released early fails this objective!
How to Marry someone within 2 Years of Leaving Prison
This is the second time-sensitive objective of this challenge, and it’s quite the task. As soon as you’re out of prison, go into Acitivies, then into Love. You can try Date or Dating App to find someone to be your significant other.
Once you’re in a relationship, increase your lover’s relationship meter by complimenting them, spending time with them, talking to them, gifting them gifts and money, and so forth.
Once your lover’s relationship meter is full, go into Activities, then Shopping, then shop for jewelry. We’re going to need a nice ring to propose with, but it doesn’t need to break the bank.
With the ring in hand, propose to your significant other, and hopefully they say yes. If they reject you, try again but pick a different location. The proposal process seems somewhat random, so just keep at it.
After you’ve made your lover your fiancé, plan your wedding. It doesn’t matter what venue you pick or the honeymoon location, so pick whatever you want. If it’s too expensive, just switch things up until you get to a price that’s more comfortable.
You are given the option to make your fiancé sign a prenup. For the purpose of this challenge, don’t make them sign the prenup, because this may cause skittish lovers to turn tail and run. As long as you didn’t age two times since you left prison, this objective should be completed.
How to Write a Memoir after Leaving Prison
The last objective is this challenge is perhaps the hardest objective, as you’ll need to become famous. This can be through whatever means you want, be it a famous writer, social media influencer, Twitch streamer, and so forth.
If you went to university for English like we mentioned earlier, now’s a great time to get a writing job. Age up a year if you don’t see any kind of writing or publishing jobs in the job listing.
Once you’re a writer, just keep putting in the hours by using the Work Harder command and eventually you’ll become famous. Spend some years increasing your fame meter, then open the Activities menu, go to Fame, then select Book. You should be able to secure a publishing deal if your fame meter is high enough.
Your publisher lets you decide on the book title. It doesn’t matter what you pick, so choose the title that stands out the most to you. Once the book is published, you are officially done with the Pushing Roses challenge.
