How to Complete the Kumbhanda’s Bottle Sidequest in Shin Megami Tensei V

To start the Kumbhanda’s Bottle sidequest, you need to speak with the Succubus demon who can be found nearby the Konan 2nd Block Leyline Fount. She’s very easy to find, so look around for a bit and you will find her.

Once you have accepted the quest, you will need to defeat a Kumbhanda who is roaming in a nearby area. The demon can be found on the lowest floor of the ruined building located to the east of the Konan 2nd Block Leyline Fount. The precise location can be found on the map below.

To defeat Kumbhanda with ease, bring as many demons that can use Electricity skills as possible, as well as those who can buff the party and debuff the enemy, as it hits very hard. Also, bringing demons that can resist Force will make the battle go even more smoothly.

After defeating Kumbhanda, return to the Succubus with the Bottle the demon dropped to complete the quest. You will receive 8,000 EXP as well as the Night Talisman as reward.
