How to Complete the Chakra Drop Chomp Sidequest in Shin Megami Tensei V

Not all sidequests are created the same in Shin Megami Tensei V. While many of them require quite a bit of time to complete, as you need to move from one place to another in search of items to collect or demons to defeat, a few others can be completed as soon as you accept them if you have the required items in your inventory already.

This is the case of the Chakra Drop Chomp sidequest, one of the first quests that can be accepted in the Shinagawa ward. Here’s all you need to do to complete it.

How to Complete the Chakra Drop Chomp Sidequest in Shin Megami Tensei V

The Chakra Drop Chomp sidequest can be started by speaking with the Kodama located near the Tennozu Leyline Fount in the Shinagawa ward. It’s the first Leyline Fount of the ward, so it is impossible to miss. You can find the exact location on the map above.

To complete this sidequest, all you need to do is bring two Charka Drops to the Kodama. These items, which restore a small amount of SP, are obtained randomly as enemy drops or found on the field, so there is no way to farm them. If you have been exploring enough, you probably already have a few of them in your inventory at this point.

Once you have the two Chakra Drops, speak with the Kodama to complete the sidequest. You will get 2000 EXP points as well as the Jirae Talisman as reward.
