If you have explored enough of the island in Hello Kitty Island Adventure you will notice there are some areas you can’t quite reach such as the volcano, Mount Hothead. As much as you try to climb the side you will find your stamina decreases too quickly and you end up sliding or floating down on your balloons. We have figured out a good path to climb up and around to the very top where a fast travel point awaits, as well as Keroppi’s missing luggage! Let’s explore exactly how to get up that tricky mountain in Hello Kitty Island Adventure!

Getting to the top of Mount Hothead in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

The very first thing you need to do is make sure you have levelled up your Stamina (find out how here) so you have a small extra meter beside your Stamina circle like this:

The extra stamina will help you get up the trickier parts. It is also worth taking a Stamina Potion (find out how here) to really boost your climbing abilities. Getting up the volcano starts where Retsuko is hiding out so fast travel there first and then head left, working your way up slowly according to the map below:

The trick to getting up the volcano is to take it slow and pause on ridges to regain stamina, if you slip and fall tap and hold so you use balloons to float gently to a safe ridge. There are three areas you will land on as you go up so don’t forget to collect any goodies on the way. When you get to a long narrow ridge you will be able to find Keroppi’s Luggage (the first X on our map).
