How to Manage Inventory in FFXIV

FFXIV is a massive MMORPG with lots of different locations that you can visit and a huge amount of quests that you can complete. All of these tasks reward you with various items and at some point, your inventory will be really messy. So, today we will try to help you solve this problem. Here are a couple of tips on how to clean up and organize your inventory.

Customize Your Inventory Settings

There is an entire tab in the Settings menu that allows you to customize your inventory. In order to find it, you will have to open the menu and go to the Character Configuration tab. There you will be able to choose the inventory interface that determines the way it will be displayed. Also, we recommend you turn off the feature that automatically stores items in your Armoury Chest. If you do it you will get more control over your inventory.

Use the Sort Function

There is a feature that allows you to sort items in your inventory automatically. You can use it by opening the inventory and clicking on the Sort button. If you don’t like the way this function sorts your items then you can open the Character Configuration tab and customize this function as you please.

Don’t Put Items You Don’t Need in Armoury Chest

Hopefully, you did as we mentioned before and turned off the feature that puts new items in Armoury Chest automatically. You should do it to be able to manage this process manually. Make sure that your Armoury Chest is filled only with the items that you need.
