What to Use to Catch Tuna in Dave the Diver

Tuna has been a contentious issue for some players with many believing the fish is bugged in-game due to its difficulty in being caught. Fortunately it is not a bug, it is just that this fish requires some specific techniques and tools to catch it!

Instead of using a regular Net Bomb, which fails to catch Tuna but instead just nets a bunch of smaller fish, use some of these:

  • Automatic Net Bomb – Purchase the Automatic Net Bomb from Cobra’s Shop when it is in stock and it will automatically catch tuna for you (hence its name!)
  • Harpoon or other guns – For the more adventurous among you, try shooting the fish and then gathering them from the waters. This is easier said than done, however, as these are speedy trickster fish! Watch them for a while and see if you can predict their movements.
  • Sedation –Give your rifle a much-needed upgrade until it can load tranquilizers, the shoot the tuna to send them off to sleep. Gather them up using drones.
  • Steel Net Bomb – This net is the most effective on big fish like the tuna and will easily capture them for you.

As long as you use one of the methods above you should be able to easily catch the tuna you need to complete your event challenge in Dave the Diver.
