How to Beat the Painter King Challenge in Clash of Clans

Every month, Supercell brings a host of new and fun events to Clash of Clans. One of the most popular events is the monthly battle challenge, where players get to raid tricky bases created by well-known content creators. In March 2023, Clash of Clans brought Painter King Challenge to promote the new Painter King skin and scenery. The layout for this challenge is created by YouTuber Clashing N Games. Here’s how to beat the Painter King Challenge in Clash of Clans.

Clash of Clans: Painter King Challenge Guide

The Painter King Challenge features a maxed Townhall 11 base and is pretty simple to beat, unlike most other challenges. It is similar to the generic layouts in multiplayer battles and clan wars. To beat this challenge, you are given the following troops and spells:

• 5 Goblins
•  5 Rocket Balloons
•  13 Balloons
•  3 Dragons
•  2 Baby Dragons
•  3 Electro Dragons
•  1 Stone Slammer (with 1 Archer)
•  Level 65 Barbarian King
•  2 Rare Spells
•  5 Freeze Spells
•  1 Poison Spell
•  1 Skeleton Spell

Now that you know the army composition, let’s learn how to use this army to get 3 stars in Painter King Challenge.

As you can guess, the main problem for our army will be the air defenses and air sweepers. First, deploy 2 Rocket Balloons near the dark elixir drill south of the base to destroy an air defense. Then, deploy one Electro Dragon in front of the archer tower on the right side of the air defense we just destroyed. Also, drop a Baby Dragon on the left gold mine to create a funnel for Electro Dragon.

Now, use your skeleton spell on the single inferno tower at the top right side of the base. Drop the Barbarian King on the archer tower near the same inferno tower and deploy the Stone Slammer to destroy the inferno tower. This will clear the top right side and create a funnel for the rest of your army.

Deploy the rest of your Dragons, Electro Dragons, and Balloons in front of the central mortar at the right side of the base. Drop a Baby Dragon to destroy the cannon in the south and use a couple of Rocket Balloons to destroy the archer tower near the cannon as well. Deploy two Goblins on the dark elixir drill to speed up the funneling process.

That’s it! We are almost done with the troops part of our attack. Now, we have to focus on using the spells. Use the poison spell when the enemy’s clan castle troop shows up. Use your rage spells when your army enters the core of the layout. You will also have to use your freeze spell on x-bows and air sweepers to ensure the army keeps pushing through the base.
