How Do Pieces and Chips Work in Apex Legends Mobile?

Unlocking new Legends in Apex Legends Mobile works differently than in the original console and PC games. Instead of having to collect Legend Tokens, Apex Legends Mobile players need to play the game to level up their account or spend Syndicate Gold to unlock new Legends. One of them, however, can only be unlocked by obtaining a certain amount of pieces.

To unlock the Apex Legends Mobile exclusive Legend Fade, players need to get 10 Fade Pieces which can be obtained as rewards in the Prime Time battle pass. You will get more pieces as you simply play the game, so it won’t take too long to get 10 of them.

Chips are also related to the new Legends Fade, but they are not used to unlock the character. Instead, they can be used to unlock story chapters for Fade and purchase different cosmetics.
