Glu Games Announce Katy Perry iOS Game Coming in 2015

The Kim Kardashian-themed game that hit the App Store last year was a huge and probably unexpected hit and it seems that its developers – Glu Games – are giving it a second go. This time, they are working on a Katy Perry game for iOS which is expected to hit the App Store later this year. And probably Nicki Minaj is next, oh, God forbid!

Jokes aside, Glu Games said that the upcoming game will be “featuring Katy’s voice, likeness, and personality,” while introducing players to a “digital playground of global success and talent.” I wouldn’t even dare to be excited and expect anything but a Kim Kardashian: Hollywood game with Katy Perry in it. And probably a lot of glitter. And kissing girls and liking it. Uhm, in the end, it doesn’t sound that bad, does it?

However, we still have nothing more than the announcement itself and a ton of ifs and maybes. I am actually pretty sure that all the ifs and maybes above will prove to be correct – and that the game will be an instant hit, just like the KK game, but for those who still doubt it, Glu Games promised some clarification and more details at a later date this year, so stay tuned!
