The Snow Shrine, aka the Gutanbac Shrine, in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, is one of the four shrines found on the Great Sky Island, the game’s starting area. While completing the challenges within the shrine is not difficult, reaching it is daunting, thanks to the cold status damage. To make things easier for you, we are here with a handy guide about how to get to Snow Shrine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
How to Get to Snow Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
There are two paths that we found during our playthrough that leads to the Snow Shrine. The first one is to climb the snowy path to reach the waterfall and then use the scale the climbable wall to reach the shrine’s entrance.
The other option is how the game wants you to reach the Snow Shrine. And that is by heading to the southmost part of the island and then taking the eastern path through the Pit Cave, where you learn how you use food items to stay warm, and then the Bottomless Cave.
Once you cross the Bottomless Cave and follow the path, you will see the giant roots of a tree leading to the Snow Shrine. Climb it, and you will reach the shrine’s entrance in no time.
But, if we have to recommend, we will say take the snowy path on the easter part of Great Sky Island until you reach the said waterfall. After that, you can easily climb up the mountain to reach the shrine.
That concludes our guide on how to get to the Snow Shrine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. For more on Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, check out our dedicated guides section.
