To start The Chi of Yore Quest in Genshin Impact you need to go to the location near the ruin in Bishui Plain. Here you need to find a character named Yan’er. She will give you the next task: Investigate the ruin.

Follow the marker and defeat the Ruin Hunter. Then read the “Incomplete writing” and find large chunks of amber close to the 3 strange stones near the ruin. You will see the Precious Chest that will spawn near the “Incomplete writing”. Open it and get the Collected Fragment.
The next thing you need to do is to travel to Qingce Village and ask locals about these fragments. Granny Ruoxin will give you the answer. Then you need to head to the Geo Statues and activate them in this order: North, South-East, North-West, North-East, South-West. After that, you will receive another Collected Fragment.
After you end with these statues, go to the highest point of the village. There you will need to activate the statues in this order: the one that faces Stormterror’s Lair should be 1st then go in clockwise order for the 3rd, 4th, 6th. You will receive another Collected Fragment.

When you have collected all fragments, you may decipher them. It will give you the location of a vault. Search for the vault. You will find lots of enemies, traps, and treasures inside. After you completed your visit to the vault, report back to Granny Ruoxin in Qingce Village to complete the quest. You will get 500 Adventure EXP, 60 Primogems, and Liyue Shrine of Depths Key as rewards.
