Genshin Impact’s Lantern Rite festival event is currently underway. The event is divided into three stages. The first stage of the Lantern Rite festival event, “We’ve only just begun” went live on February 10, 2021. During the first stage of the event, players had to complete requests that came as world quests under the Lantern Rite Tales section. However, even after completing all the quests, players were unable to unlock the second stage i.e Guests flock from afar.

In the wake of that, many of the Genshin Impact players were wondering if they had to complete anything else, in order to unlock Lantern Rite festival event stage 2 “Guests flock from afar”. And, the answer to that confusion is “Yes”, in-order to get to the second stage of the event, players have to complete the quest Currents Deep Beneath the Lanterns. Apart from that, once players have enough festive fever, that they get by completing the requests from Lantern Rite Tales, they are good to go.

Players aren’t able to reach stage 2 of Genshin Impact’s Lantern Rite event because it is yet not started. The official schedule for “Guests flock from afar” is slated to be February 14, 2021, at 04:00 server time, and the End Date is February 28, 2021, at 03:59 server time.

Once Genshin Impact’s Lantern Rite festival second stage “Guests flock from afar” is underway, new requests will be available under Lantern Rite tales, along with an updated Xiao’s market.
