HoYoverse has been teasing the Sumeru region for a long time through various events and NPCs. Genshin Impact 3.0 Update has finally added Sumeru to the game. This new region is located southwest of Liyue and is home to many unique life forms and terrain. Like other regions, players can also find fishing spots in Sumeru. In this guide, we have listed all of the fishing spots in Sumeru in Genshin Impact.
All Fishing Spots in Sumeru
As of Genshin Impact 3.0 update, Sumeru has seven different fishing spots. Here are their locations:
1) Sumeru City
The first fishing spot is located at the northwest docks of the beautiful Sumeru city. During the daytime, players can catch Sandstorm Angler and Lazurite Axe Marlin, whereas Dawncatcher and Sunset Cloud Angler spawn at night.
2) Yazadaha Pool
Players will spot a fishing spot filled with colourful fishes by travelling west from the waverider point in Yazadaha pool west. During the daytime, players can catch Akai Maou, True Fruit Angler, Sandstorm Angler, Lazurite Axe Marlin, and Halcyon Jade Axe Marlin. At night, players can also find rare Sunset Cloud Angler here.
3) Vimara Village
Players can find a fishing spot next to the teleport point in Vimara Village. This spot features Medaka, True Fruit Angler, Sandstorm Angler, Lazurite Axe Marlin, and Halcyon Jade Axe Marlin. At night, Sunset Cloud Angler can also be found here.
4) Port Ormos
Players can find a fishing spot across the river near Loumelat, the NPC from Sumeru Fishing Association. Players can catch Crystalfish, True Fruit Angler, Sandstorm Angler, Lazurite Axe Marlin, and Halcyon Jade Axe Marlin here. This spot also contains Sunset Cloud Angler during nighttime.
5) Devantaka Mountain
This fishing spot is in the deep lake in front of the colossal ruin guard in Devantaka Mountain. During the daytime, Sandstorm Angler and Halcyon Jade Axe Marlinspawn here, whereas Dawncatcher and Sunset Cloud Angler spawn during the night.
6) Mawtiyima Forest
Mawtiyima Forest features a fishing spot underneath giant mushrooms near the teleport waypoint, as shown in the above image. Players can catch Peach of the Deep Waves, Lazurite Axe Marlin, Halcyon Jade Axe Marlin during the daytime, and Sunset Cloud Angler at night.
7) Vanarana
Players can find a fishing spot in Vissudha Field, but they will first have to complete The World of Aranara quest to unlock this area. After that, players can catch Medaka, True Fruit Angler, Sandstorm Angler, Lazurite Axe Marlin, Halcyon Jade Axe Marlin during the daytime and Sunset Cloud Angler at night.
