In the latest issue of Famitsu, Genki Yokota confirmed that the Lunatic difficulty mode will be added to Fire Emblem Three Houses with a free update shortly after launch, providing more challenge to experienced players.

Fire Emblem Three Houses is the first entry in the series to get released on a home console since quite some time. The game will feature three different stories starring the titular houses, a military academy setting and several gameplay tweaks that make the game stand out from the most recent entries in the series.
