Biometric Scanner is one of the many junk items in Fallout 76 that players can scrap to get crafting materials like Asbestos, Fiber optics and Nuclear material. 

It is also one of the items that often comes as a part of the weekly and other challenge rotations where players are asked to scrap junk to get Fiber Optics and so on. 

Where to Find Biometric Scanner in Fallout 76

In Fallout 76, you can find a Biometric Scanner right next to the dead scientist found west of Highway 107 northwest of Fort Defiance, near the vast crater that often gets random enemy spawns, which during our playthrough are mostly the Super Mutants.

Apart from that, you can also farm a ton of Biometric Scanners from the Protectrons, and Assaultrons found around Appalachia. The best location for farming them is the city of Watoga or any of the three Nuclear Sites. 

Some Biometric Scanners are also found in the laboratories and medical facilities around Appalachia. 

Lastly, you can also get Biometric Scanners from destroying turrets. But then again, if you are trying to farm Biometric Scanners, try farming Protectrons and Assaultrons, they have a higher Biometric Scanner drop rate and are also easy to locate.
