FarmVille 3: How to Unlock Pig Farm Expansion

The Pig Farm expansion is one of the many animal buildings that players eventually unlock by progressing through the game. It is the third animal home that you unlock in FarmVille 3. Before the Pig Home, players get access to the Bird and Cow home that they can use to house Chicken and Cow.

How to Unlock Pig Farm Expansion

Players can unlock the Pig Farm expansion for 1,000 gold coins once they have obtained a Yorkshire Pig by progressing through the game. 

Every expansion in FarmVille 3 has a level requirement or something similar. Once players fulfill the said requirement, they are eligible to buy the corresponding expansion using gold coins. 

Players can tap on the expansion area to check how many coins are required to buy that particular expansion. 

The Pig Farm expansion is located on the south side of the player’s farm. Tap on it and then click on unlock. Assuming you have 1,000 coins, you will unlock the unconstructed version of the Pig Farm expansion. 

Select a Farmhand and assign him to work on the Pig Farm expansion. After the construction time is exhausted, your Pig Farm expansion, aka Pig Home, is ready. You can craft more Pig Home via the Hammer Icon menu. However, another Pig Home will once again cost you 1,000 gold coins.
