If you’re among those who cannot wait to play the game, you will be happy to know that a playable demo is now available for download from the Nintendo Switch eShop worldwide. The demo is rather big, as it allows players to try out the first 10 hours of the game, so playing it is a very good way to see if Dragon Quest XI S is the game for you.

As an additional bonus, all those who download the Dragon Quest XI S or the full game when it releases will receive the Tockles spirit in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Dragon Quest XI S will come with plenty of new features not found in the original PC and PS4 releases, such as additional character stories, which will delve deeper into the backstory of party members, new areas based on past entries in the series and more.

Dragon Quest XI S will also bring content found in the Nintendo 3DS release, which has not been released in the West. Thanks to 2D mode, players will be able to experience Dragon Quest XI S as a classic entry in the series.

Dragon Quest XI S launches on Nintendo Switch on September 27th.
