A few hours ago Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line has surfaced on the New Zealand App Store, meaning that it will be available in a few hours in all other regions.

Dragon Quest II iOS comes with the same improvements and enhancements featured in the Dragon Quest iOS port. The game will also only be playable in portrait mode.

Another classic entry of the series has been made available only recently in Japan. Dragon Quest III has been released a few days ago on the Japanese App Store, allowing Japanese gamers to enjoy the classic RPG on the go. While there are no news on a possible Western release, the game will probably surface in all the other regions soon, as it’s the only currently available Japanese Dragon Quest iOS port that’s yet to receive a release in the West. We will let you know more about this release as soon as possible.

Dragon Quest II will be released on the App Store later today for the price of $4.99. The game is much bigger than the first Dragon Quest so make sure to download the game if you’re in the mood for some old school role playing game action.
