EXP Share in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

EXP sharing system is a gameplay mechanic in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl that is related to your Pokemon EXP. Usually, in Pokemon games, your companions receive a certain amount of EXP at the end of the battle. Only those who participated in the battle received EXP as a reward in most Pokemon games. However, the new EXP sharing system will allow you to level up all of the companions that you brought to the battle. It means that you won’t have to throw each Pokemon in the fight to level it up.
