Digimon Survive became available for purchase on April 29th. Moreover, players who bought the game in the first month will receive free DLC. However, not everything is as good as it should be. Many PC players complain that they cannot play the game.

When you launch Digimon Survive, you will see an introductory video. It will show you the characters and enemies that you will meet during your travels, and a bit of the plot. And for the first method, you need to open the My PC Menu. Next, open Drive C and find ProgramFiles(x86). Then follow these instructions:

Find K-Lite
Go to Tools
Run CodecTweakTool.exe
Go to Codec and Filter Management
Find Preferred Splitters, change the 64bit .MP4 file to “Use Merit” and click Apply.

This method helps in most cases. However, if the cutscene still ends with a white screen, you need to use the second method. For it, you also need to go to ProgramFiles(x86) and then find and uninstall LAV Filters and K-Lite. If that didn’t work for you, you’ll have to wait for Bandai Namco to release a new patch.

Also, sometimes players experience a lag in Digimon Survive. You can easily fix this by lowering the graphics settings. We also recommend you go to Steam and find the game in the library. There you will be able to verify the integrity of game files. In most cases, this will fix the lag problem.
