Cards and Castles Update to Bring a Shipload of Content

This article is over 10 years old and may contain outdated information

I hope you managed to put out Cards and Castles tips and tricks to good use because things are going to get a lot more interesting, really soon: a new Cards & Castles update is about to be launched, taking the CCG to what its developers call “version 2.0”. Yup, it’s going to be that massive!

A lot of optimizations and balance changes should be expected: tweaks and nerfs, all resulting in a faster paced and more balanced gameplay experience – a better experience, we’d say. The game will be faster (which is always great news) and matches will be more intense, which is exactly what we were hoping for.

There will be some other visible changes in Cards and Castles too, the most notable being, probably, the Mono-factions concept which rewards players who decide to create a single faction deck with exclusive new Hero Cards, which are extremely powerful, redesigned versions of legendary cards. So strategies and approaches will certainly change after the upcoming update!

Newly streamlined deck construction creates a more fun and efficient deck-building experience. Players now can complete their collections more quickly and build their decks in half the time.

Everything sounds really exciting, no matter if you were playing the game before or not. The new Cards and Castles update is scheduled for release on August 13th, so make sure you get your cards ready by then!
