As a business owner, players will first choose the type of business they want to own, and then work to building that company to be the best it can be. Becoming a Business Owner in BitLife
Your new BitLife business can be anything from a Food Truck to a Pet Supply company, and can eventually make your family very rich! You will, of course, need quite a lot of money upfront to start or buy the business. This can be achieved easily if you are from a rich family and have inherited wealth, or if you are a celebrity like a famous sports person. It is recommended that you have around $1,000,000 to start your company.
Once it is yours you can build it up as much as you like. There are always high risks and high rewards with this, just like having a business in real life. The more demand there is for your product, the more money you will make- so keep an eye on that aspect when you choose the type of company you want.

Just like there is a restriction on how many businesses you can own, there is also a restriction on whether you can rename the company. At present you cannot rename the business, although there is no comment from Candywriter as to whether they will add this feature in the future. For now, we will have to wait and see if this addition arrives in a future update or patch along with inheritance of a business.
