Basically, as you might well know by now, there are quite a few things you will need your cards in the game for, and those things are quite important because they will let you actually progress in the game.

If you have reached a point where your cards don’t give enough points to keep up with the mission requirements, then it’s time that you do something about it! And no, it’s not just about upgrading your Group Stats, but also about upgrading the cards!

Now if you are ready to learn more about how you can upgrade your cards, let’s get started on how to upgrade cards in BTS World!

BTS World – How upgrading cards works?

Basically when you upgrade your card it will get better stats, and it can only be done once you’ve upgraded it to the maximum level.

One of the few things you need to know is that only 3*, 4* and 5* cards can be upgraded. The others are not really all that great, so I have a solution for what you can do with them as well – just keep reading!

Since only 3-5* cards can be upgraded, you can already tell that it’s going to be quite the painstaking process.

In order to upgrade a card, you will nee to make it level 30 and then have all the Upgrade Stones necessary for that particular member. Since there are 7 members, if you want to upgrade 1 of their cards you will need to collect Upgrade Stones for all of them.

Upgrading a card will basically let you further increase their level, and with this unlock even more rewards, but we’ll get into these a little later.

What you need to remember by now are these important pointers:

– You need a ton of EXP to level up the cards in the first place.

– You can only upgrade 3*, 4* and 5* cards.

– You need increasingly more Upgrade Stones to upgrade the cards, depending on the stars that card has. (5 stars needs 300 Upgrade Stones, 3 stars needs 50 Upgrade Stones – big difference)

– Upgrading a card will increase the points it gives during missions.

BTS World – How to level up cards & get Level Up items?

Since leveling up the card is the most important step here, you will have to collect a ton of leveling items. You can do this quite easily by playing in the BTS Story levels. There, what I like to do is go to the highest level that I cleared with 3 stars.

Once I found it, I go to the “Auto Clear x5” option and spend 25 Wings to clear it quickly. This way I don’t spend time, and the game will automatically clear the stage for me. This is done instantly, so it’s super easy.

Once you did this, you will get a few Blossoms from the stages which give them, and they are a super important factor in leveling up the cards.

Basically I leveled up my 3 star cards to 30 in a couple of days. If you are running low on Wings to do this, just add a ton of friends to your friends list and make sure you collect all the Wings they send you (you receive 1 Wing per friend who sends it).

Since you can acquire a maximum of 50 per day, you should make sure you spend the ones you have before, and make room for collecting more! You can also get them for simply logging in to the game as a daily log in reward!

You can level up the cards by heading to the Manage Cards button -> tap on the card you want to level up -> it will open an interface of the card, where the Level Up option is already selected.

Once you’re there, tap on the XP items you want to add, or simply select “+1 Level” to use exactly enough flowers to increase the card’s level by 1, or “MAX Level” to use up all the flowers you have on that card! Once you are set, tap on “Level Up” to apply! Ta-daa – you’ve leveled up your card!

BTS World – How to Upgrade cards?

Cards that have reached level 30 can now be upgraded, to increase their maximum level to 50 and even unlock various rewards!

– If you have 4* and 5* cards, once they reach level 50 you will unlock special events.

– For every 3*-5* card that you unlock by default you will receive a special event upon simply acquiring that card.

Whenever you draw new cards, you have a chance to unlock duplicates! These duplicates can be used in the “Exchange” menu (when you tap on the card) and you will receive even more EXP items, as well as a few of that card member’s Upgrade Stones.

There are 7 types of Upgrade Stones:

– Jin’s Upgrade Stone

– SUGA’s Upgrade Stone

– j-hope’s Upgrade Stone

– RM’s Upgrade Stone

– Jimin’s Upgrade Stone

– V’s Upgrade Stone

– Jung Kook’s Upgrade Stone

Depending on the cards that you Exchange, you will receive a few of them! Keep gathering them, because you will need quite a lot!

Once you gathered enough and your card is level 30, you can then head on to the “Upgrade” tab and you’re set!

BTS World – How to Craft cards?

Now crafting cards is a whole new story – basically since there are a ton of cards for each member (50 for each), in the game there is a total of 350 cards! That’s quite a lot, right? Well, fortunately (or unfortunately, you decide) you can only craft 42 of them (6 for each member). That’s not even half of the ones available in the game, but they are still useful nonetheless!

Since the cards that you can craft will be only 3*-5*, you can’t really go wrong by farming for those. Now you can do this in a pretty simple manner, but it’s going to take quite some time to gather all the pieces needed to craft a whole card!

Where can you find Card pieces?

You can discover members’ card pieces by heading on to the Another Story menu, and selecting a member. There, you will have to progress through that member’s side story, but be very careful! During the encounters, you can only use that member’s cards, so if you don’t have very good cards of that member yet, wait until you get!

You can see the number of cards you have of each member in the main Another Story menu, in the pink hear next to their portraits.

Each of the Another Story member stories will have 6 chapters. In each chapter you will unlock another card to use. The Card Pieces will drop in the encounter levels (pink / red ones).

Keep this in mind: You can only do these 3 times per day, so if you fail – it’s a failed attempt and it counts as one of the 3 attempts! So don’t go trying again and again endlessly, because you will end up wasting all attempts for that level that particular day!
