The much-anticipated Battlegrounds Mobile India 1.7.0 update is just around the corner, and Krafton has revealed the patch notes for the upcoming BGMI update. On Nov. 15, the official BGMI’s YouTube channel posted a detailed video demonstrating the unique features and content players will see in the BGMI 1.7.0 update.
From the content perspective, the BGMI 1.7.0 update is set to bring a new themed mode, followed by piggyback and windshield features. Beyond this, Krafton has also announced a new battle item known as Hexcrystal that will spawn around the Erangel. Here are the official patch notes of the Battlegrounds Mobile India 1.7.0 update.
BGMI 1.7.0 update patch notes
A few days back, Krafton announced an exclusive collaboration with the League Of Legends’ Arcane series. As a result, BGMI gamers will be seeing most of the new content associated with this partnership.
New Mode – Mirrorland
The League of Legends animation, Arcane, is coming to Battlegrounds Mobile India. You can enter the new Theme Mode: Mirror World by checking the mode checkbox. The Mirror Iand will appear online in the Mirror World mode in Erangel.
New Area – Mirror Island
Before the mirror Island appears, you can jump from the airship and move around and loot items just like when you are on the ground. Even if you are defeated in the Mirror Island, you can return to the ground with the items you have found.
Wind Barrier
Once a round begins, you’ll see the marked area. This area becomes the mirror island after a certain time, and the Wind Barrier appears around the area. With this Wind Barrier, you can enter either Piltover Mirror Island or Zaund Mirror Island, which are the backgrounds of Arcane.
Hextech Crystals
Hextech crystals can be found across the Erangel map in different locations. Players can gather these crystals in order to buy special supplies from the DynaHex Supply store.
Arcane Monsters
Arcane Monsters will emerge around the Erangel map as well as the Mirror Island. Players can check the location of these monsters and defeat them to accumulate even more Hextech crystals.
New Feature – Piggyback
The highly anticipated Piggyback feature is finally coming with BGMI 1.7.0 update. With the help of this feature, players can carry their knocked teammate on their back at the cost of a reduction in movement speed. Meanwhile, you can’t fire weapons or ride any vehicles.
