When starting out, the best way to level quickly in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is to use the auto mechanic: press the R button and your lead Pokémon will come out and attack the wild Pokémon. But be careful with this, because if your lead isn’t strong enough to fight the wild unit or has a type weakness, they will run back to you.

Candy can range in size from Small to Extra Large, and stronger Raids will give out stronger Candy.
