In addition to the starting sword that you get at the very beginning, there are 3 more types of swords in the game:
- Shura’s Sword
- Crescent Moon Blade
- Whirlwind Twin Swords
Each of these swords is unique in its own way and has its own characteristics. Also, any of them can be pumped, increasing its rarity. There are 6 rarity levels available in the game: common, great, rare, epic, legendary, and mythic. Shura’s Sword
This sword is a classic katana that has impressive speed. Shura’s Sword also has a special attack that turns your next 4 hits into counter-flash hits. These features make Shura’s Sword a reliable assistant in the battle with almost any enemy.
Crescent Moon Blade
This blade is heavier and longer than the previous sword and therefore has a lower attack speed. However, this sword’s special attack lengthens the blade impressively and allows for killing blows within a few seconds, making it effective against large enemies, but not very convenient against a large number of small opponents.
Whirlwind Twin Swords
This is not one, but as many as 2 fast blades that are incredibly effective against a large number of small enemies. The special attack of these swords allows you to slow down time for 6 seconds and inflict a large number of hits on enemies until they are almost unable to move. It can also help a lot when fighting bosses by slowing them down during powerful attacks. It does, however, have a disadvantage of lower damage output.
Based on this information, it is rather difficult to choose which sword is stronger, since each of them is effective in its own way and will be more useful in a certain game situation. However, most players lean toward Shura’s Sword as the strongest sword, as it is the most intuitive, easy to use, and most balanced, making it a great choice for comfortable play.
In addition to weapons, there are character skills and much more equipment that you can tweak to strongly affect the gameplay. So choose your gear wisely and enjoy the wonderful game of Ronin: The Last Samurai.
