Scampi is a small animal, which is obtainable at level 2 and is incredibly effective if you often sell animals during the game. The Scampi ability is ordinary, but at the same time incredibly helpful for many strategies:

• Lvl 1 – When you sell an animal, your random friend gets +1 Health
• Lvl 2 – +2 Health
• Lvl 3 – +3 Health

Scampi interacts well with those animals that also have the effect of selling/buying. For example, the Otter gives a random friend +1/+1 when you buy it. When you buy an Otter, you want to sell it right away, and if you have Scampi, you will not only get a coin but also buff one/several random friends.

• In the later game, you can forgo the Fish in favor of more Bison and creatures like Skunks and Cat.
• At the very end of the game, don’t change anything. Buy foods to enhance and leave free space for buying/selling animals and activating the Scampi effect.
