Recommended Ability Order

You gain a skill point every time you level up, and they can be spent towards improving one of your skills. This is the recommended order in which you should spend your points:

Strategy

Aurelion Sol is a unique and super fun champion to play as in League of Legends: Wild Rift. Since he commands the stars, his main source of damage is through his passive, Center of the Universe. Three stars slowly orbit around Aurelion Sol at all times, and any enemies that come into contact with them will take damage. He can also extend his personal stars outward with Celestial Expansion.

Aurelion Sol can fire off a small star with Starsurge. The star will travel forward, and you can activate the ability again to detonate it, dealing damage and stunning anything caught inside.

Aurelion Sol’s third normal ability is perhaps his most important one: Comet of Legend. This ability allows Aurelion Sol to take flight and traverse over walls and obstacles, but if he takes any damage, it’s immediately canceled. Comet of Legend enables Aurelion Sol to be the constantly roaming threat he’s known for, as he can swiftly ambush lanes using Comet of Legend and Starsurge.

Finally, Aurelion Sol can unleash a blast of light in a narrow line using Voice of Light, his ultimate ability. Enemies hit take magic damage, are knocked back, and slowed.

Since Aurelion Sol is heavily dependent upon his abilities for damage, items that grant more ability power are the way to go. The first item you should work towards is Rod of Ages, as this grants him extra ability power, health, and mana. The extra health is a plus if you ever get caught out in a bad situation, which often happens during the early game with Aurelion Sol.

During the early game, you should focus on pushing lanes out and farming gold. Early on, Aurelion Sol isn’t that great at taking out enemies himself, but he has fantastic wave clear with his stars. Once you acquire Star Surge and Comet of Legend, you can start roaming to other lanes to help ambush enemies that your allies are facing off against.

Once you get your late game items like Rabadon’s, Aurelion Sol becomes a serious threat. In team fights, you’ll want to try to hit as many enemies with your stars as possible. You can also use Flash for some crafty ambushes with Voice of Light.
