Apex Legends is coming to Nintendo Switch very soon, but we still haven’t seen much of the first portable version of the battle royale game developed by Respawn. A new look at this version of the game has been provided by a brand new trailer that has been released online a few hours ago.
The new trailer also gives us a look at how the game will run in handheld mode. As expected, Apex Legends will not look as good as it does on PC and the other consoles, but it definitely looks like it will not run as smoothly as well. For a high-speed first-person game, a 60 frames per second frame rate is a necessity, but it seems like Nintendo’s console will not be able to handle them for Apex Legends.
Still, we do not know exactly how Apex Legends will run on Nintendo Switch, as developer Panic Button hasn’t said a whole lot on the matter. The studio did work some magic when porting DOOM and DOOM Eternal on the Switch, so we can be sure that it will do everything to release the best possible experience on the console.
Apex Legends launches on March 9 on Nintendo Switch.
