All Udumbara Pistil Locations in Genshin Impact

The Udumbara Pistils in Genshin Impact can be a little tricky to collect, but do not worry—that is what guides like this are for. These little quest items are part of the latest 3.6 update, along with the new desert area Sumeru. There are six Pistils to collect as part of a quest, and your job is to find each one and hand them over.

How to find all Udumbara Pistils in Genshin Impact

The key to collecting the Udumbara Pistils is to use your new gadget Sorush, who is there to help you make the Pistils appear for your collection. This is all part of a new quest introduced in update 3.6. Follow the steps below to get this quest started:

1. Venture to Vourukasha Oasis;
2. Complete the “As Part of the Splendorous Sky” quest;
3. Talk to Zurvan to accept the “Pale Fire” quest;
4. Find the Fravashi Tree at the Asipattravana Swamp;
5. Use Sorush to interact with the Fravashi Tree by activating her ability at the tree;
6. Talk to the Residual Pari, who asks for six Udumbara Pistils.

All six of the Udumbara Pistils are marked on the interactive map provided by Genshin Impact developer miHoYo. The Pistils can be found in and around the Asipattravana Swamp, including on the cliffs.

To get to the Udumbara Pistil inside each flower, you need to activate the flower first. This is where Sorush comes in to help! Bring her forth and activate her before flying her up to the heart icon showing near the flower. Keep her there and have your character go over to join her. The flower will have shown itself, and you can climb in to grab the Pistil.

Once all six are collected, head back to Residual Pari to hand them over and complete this Genshin Impact quest!
