Octopath Traveler 2 Missables
Missable 1: When starting the game, players choose the first traveler to have in their party of heroes. There are 8 heroes to choose from who have a unique assigned role: Warrior, Dancer, Merchant, Thief, Scholar, Cleric, Hunter, Apothecary. You should make this choice wisely because this first traveler cannot be removed from the party for a period of time. Missable 2: The next missable is during Chapter 1 of Ochette’s tale. At this time players choose between 2 companions: Akala who reveals weapon weaknesses or Mahina who reveals elemental weaknesses. Decide carefully because once you have chosen the companion, the other will no longer be available.

Missable 3: Continuing the game, players will moments where choices will be made. Just like a choose-your-own-adventure book, these choices will affect how the game story turns out. The next scene will differ depending on which path you take… But it you want to make sure you get to see all scenes, save before encountering dialogue options. This means you can hop back to the scene and choose again to see the other scenes.
Missable 4: As you encounter NPCs through the game you will want to interact with them when you meet them as they can disappear and never return. If you miss them, the item you could have gained from them will be missed too.
