Here’s everything you need to know about the four difficulty settings in Triangle Strategy and how they change the experience.

All Difficulty Settings in Triangle Strategy Explained

Triangle Strategy features four different difficulty settings – Very Easy, Easy, Normal, and Hard. You are able to pick any of them at the start of the game, but you won’t be locked into your selection, as you can switch between them after the game begins from the Options menu via the Battle Settings option while on the world map.

Outside of the challenge level in battle, difficulty modes don’t change much else. You will get the same rewards for battles in all difficulties, so it is possible to make grinding faster by simply picking a lower difficulty setting.

Triangle Strategy Difficulty Modes Differences

Very Easy is the easiest difficulty in Triangle Strategy. Battles are extremely easy to win, making this the difficulty mode to pick for those who just want to experience the story.

Easy is not as easy as Very Easy difficulty, but it’s extremely welcoming and best suited to players who are new to tactical role-playing games. You will hardly be challenged by enemies at Easy, making it a good difficulty for those who are willing to learn the game ahead of a possible difficulty jump.

Normal is the most balanced difficulty in Triangle Strategy, offering a good amount of challenge without being overwhelmed. Given how the game can generally be a little challenging, your skills will still be put to the test sometimes, forcing you to learn the ins and outs of the battle system to make it out of the most difficult battles alive.

Hard is the hardest difficulty option in Triangle Strategy, and one that should be picked only by veterans of the game or those who played plenty of tactical role-playing games already. All battles will be extremely challenging, so a good party setup will be as important as a good strategy.
