Adventure Game Sol Invictus Now Available On The App Store

Fans of gamebook titles have been able to enjoy a rather nice game called Heavy Metal Thunder last year, a really interesting game developed by Cubus Games. Even though it hasn’t been that long since the game has been released, Heavy Metal Thunder has already received a sequel, as announced last month.

Being a direct sequel, Sol Invictus starts right from the ending of the previous game, with players having to fight battles in space to save humanity from destruction. The game features a really interesting story, plenty of battles fought with dice rolls and an atmospheric soundtrack. And, just like in the previous game, players may find themselves having to making some choices that will end up destroying humanity, rather than saving it. Sol Invictus’ universe is a really dark world, after all, so it’s only natural for characters to act just as darkly.

Having to make different choices during the game, Sol Invictus offers several different story paths that give it quite a bit of replay value. Thankfully players will be able to check out all these branches more easily than in its predecessor, since the new game comes with three different save slots.

Sol Invictus is now available for purchase on the App Store for only $0,99, a true steal considering how good the game is.
