Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires features, among many different combat options, personal Secret Plans, unique skills that can be unleashed in battle at any time once they have been fully charged. Many of these attacks come with Elemental properties that behave differently and can be more or less useful depending on the situation.

Below, you will find all of the game’s Elemental Attacks and their unique effects.

Elemental AttacksEffects
FireKnocked-down enemies will explode to deal damage to nearby enemies still standing. Extra damage to weapons created by Weapon Bases
IceChance of freezing enemies. Frozen enemies receive extra damage.
WindCompletely stops enemies temporarily.
LightningInflicts Static Shock to enemies. In this state, they will unleash thunder that deals extra damage once attacked.
PoisonInflicts poison to enemies, which depletes health over time.
SlashSlash elemental attacks deal full damage as they ignore the enemy’s defense.
