How to Get More Lost Satchels in Pokemon Legends: Arceus

Pokemon Legends: Arceus has a useful feature that allows players to return any items lost after a battle. Each player carries a satchel full of their items, starting with the capacity to hold 20 item-type slots, and each slot can hold hundreds of the same resource. Satchels can be upgraded by 1 slot, all the way up to 59 slots, by paying Bagin in the Galaxy Building for each upgrade.

When a player loses a battle and faints, they drop their satchel of goodies. Fortunately, they can get them all back as long as another player finds it and returns it using the Lost & Found feature. The reward for returning a satchel is merit points, a type of currency to use in-game.

How to Get More Satchels

Merit points are the currency used at Simona’s Stall. Here, you can spend them on a variety of items, including evolution stones and other resources used to evolve Pokemon. To get more merit points, you will need to find and return more satchels. One way to do this is to be online so you are connected with all other players in the server and will see when someone has fainted and dropped a satchel in the Hisui Region. This is the only way to have your own satchels returned too.

You will find that there are more opportunities to return lost satchels as you progress through the game and unlock more areas. Also, the more players who join the game over time will mean more satchels dropped, ready to be discovered and returned.

When you are offline, you will still be able to find satchels dropped by NPCs, trainers in the Hisui Region who are not played by real people. Because these are basically bots, they don’t battle well and they lose their satchels easily. Be careful though, because if you lose your satchel while offline, another player cannot return it.

Farming for satchels is easy while offline, but you run the risk of losing your items in a battle.

Good luck!
