Once you have purchased the Expansion Pass, this side quest will automatically show up in your Adventure Log. Read the quest description, and it’ll give you a hint of where to get started. You’ll want to head to the flooded ruins of Deya Village, which is in the northern section of Faron.

You’ll find many destroyed houses sitting in the lake bed. Near the southeastern lake, there’s a ruined house that has a secret journal inside. Read it, and it’ll give you hints on where to find the three pieces of the Dark Armor set.

The journal states:

The evil spirit’s armor set is hidden within Faron’s sea of trees. Find these pieces at the highest of three waterfalls north of Lake Floria… at the bridge between small waterfalls over Floria River… and at the broken stone bird of Ebara Forest.

The first piece is the Phantom Ganon Skull, which can be acquired by following the first clue. In the heart of the Faron region lies three lakes atop the mountains. You’ll want to climb up or use the Zora Armor to swim up the waterfalls. At the base of one of the waterfalls from Corta Lake lies the chest with the Phantom Ganon Skull, sitting in the water.

The second piece is the Phantom Ganon Armor, found near the broken Sarjon Bridge. Right below the bridge is the chest, sitting at the bottom of the river. Hop down to the rocks nearby the bridge and use Magnesis to fish up the chest.

The final piece is the Phantom Ganon Greaves, found near the “broken stone bird.” Head to Ebara Forest and follow the path towards the Floria Bridge. Along the way, you should see three bird statues, but one of them is missing a chunk off its head. Search around the base of the broken statue, and you should find a chest buried in the ground.

You now have all three pieces of the Dark Armor set, aka Phantom Ganon’s set. The set bonus grants you lots of stealth, and it increases the power of the Bone-type weapons, perfect for those who like to sneak around undetected.
