Z Day: Hearts of Heroes Cheats: Tips & Strategy Guide

Chemical warfare has left the world scarred forever, and now you must rebuild and fight to see another day! Z Day: Hearts of Heroes is a base building strategy game where you will build a base of operations from the ground up to take down mutated threats and other organizations that threaten to take you down! Our Z Day: Hearts of Heroes cheats and tips will show you how to build the ultimate base.

Z Day: Hearts of Heroes is all about upgrading your facilities and keeping track of the missions, which we will go over with you in our Z Day: Hearts of Heroes cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!

Complete the missions!

Like most base building games, you have a series of main missions that can be accessed at any time by tapping the button at the bottom left corner of the screen. You should always be working towards the main mission as they will lead you down the general progression route for your base, ensuring that it stays up-to-date with all of the latest upgrades appropriate for your level.

If you’re ever unsure of what to do next, simply take a look at your main missions and see what your next objective is. Not only do they help your base, but completing them rewards you with resources that you can use towards more expansion!

Keep training troops!

If you follow the main missions, you will build several training facilities that let you create combat troops. In this game, there is power in numbers so you can get through most conflicts by having more troops than the enemy, and that’s why it’s important to always be training troops.

Training new units is a timely affair and in many cases takes longer than even building new facilities, so you always want new troops to be in the queue before you leave the game for a period of time.

Learn skills to strengthen your command!

Upon leveling up to the next rank, your commander will gain skill points that they can use to gain passive bonuses. There are three trees in the skill tree: war, economy, and balance.

War skills are focused on combat bonuses, like troops dealing more damage to certain units, and even gives them special active skills like Emergency Recall, which brings all marching troops back to base immediately. Learn these skills if you like to fight other players or take out threats a lot!

Economy skills are focused on the logistics of your base. Level these skills up if you want your production facilities to work faster, for timers to shorten, and for better infrastructure overall.

Balance skills are the in-between that are more focused on utility than anything else. These skills often let you take down threats on the world map easier, and they will help with build times in your base.

For a balanced commander, you should try to put an equal amount of points in all of the trees.

Check your items for helpful goodies!

Whenever you complete a special mission and level up, you may be rewarded with consumable items in your backpack. These items offer useful things, like a certain amount of a resource, timer speed ups, and other helpful utilities.

These items can be used at any time, so make sure to check in your backpack to see if you have any goodies waiting for you!

That’s all for Z Day: Hearts of Heroes! If you have any other tips or tricks to share, let us know in the comments below!
