Wuthering Waves has been making the headlines among the mobile game community, as the closed beta test is currently underway. Overall, the closed beta test has been getting pretty good reception, as Wuthering Waves shares the same polished and slick feel that Punishing Gray Raven had.

Wuthering Waves is a big deal because no other mobile RPG cannot seem to hold a candle to Hoyoverse’s games, mainly the beast that is Genshin Impact. Kuro Game’s own Punishing Gray Raven was created with the same love and care, but it struggled to find an audience for whatever reason.

The good news is that Kuro Games seems to have learned from their past, as they heavily promoted the closed beta test for Wuthering Waves. Since this is just a closed test and not an open test, that means that we probably have another test sometime later this year.

If we had to wager a guess, the next test is going to be an open beta test, and it will happen sometime around either late summer or fall. This means that Wuthering Waves might get a very late winter release, or be an early 2024 game. The latter is probably the more realistic outcome.
