The feline adventure game from developers BlueTwelve Studio and publisher Annapurna Interactive, Stray, is finally coming to the PC and PlayStation platforms next week. Yes, Stray will be available for free on Sony’s newly introduced PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium subscription service. If you are a subscriber of PS Plus Extra or PS Plus Premium, you can enjoy the upcoming adventure title from BlueTwelve Studio, Stray, without paying any additional money.

When the game releases on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on July 19, 2022, you can simply go to the PlayStation Plus Extra and navigate to the Game Collection option. There you will find Stray. Click on the game and then the Download button to install Stray on PS4 or PS5. Once installation is complete, you can play Stray from the home screen. 

How to Subscribe For PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium on PS4 or PS5?

Follow the below steps to subscribe for PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium service in case you don’t use PS Plus or are using the Essential version.

  • Boot up your PS4 or PS5 and Go to the PS Plus menu

  • Select the Upgrade Option. You can press the Square button to compare the different subscription service

  • Press the X button on the PS Plus Extra or Premium 
  • Press on the Order and Pay button if you have your payment method saved else add a new payment method

  • Press X and Accept 
  • You will get the message “Your subscription plan has changed…”

  • Now go back to the PS Plus menu, and you will be able to see the text “Extra” or “Premium” beside the PS Plus text

  • Now you can go to Game Collection and play every new and already added game till your PS Plus Extra or Premium subscription is active

Stray is an adventure game set to release on July 19th of this year on the PC and PlayStation platforms.
