Will Monster Have Different Attacks in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Master Rank?

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will introduce a lot of new monsters to the game, such as the fearsome Malzeno, but it’s not like the expansion will just focus on new monsters and neglect all the powerful creatures that are available in the base game.

The expansion, just like expansions for previous Monster Hunter games, will introduce a new Quest Rank, Master Rank, where players will also have to hunt monsters available in the base. But will older monsters have new moves and special attacks in Master Rank quests? Let’s find out.

Will Monster Have Different Attacks in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Master Rank?

The Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak May Digital Event not only confirmed that older monsters will appear in Master Rank quests, but also that they will come with some new moves and attacks that will make them more deadly.

During the Digital Event, it has been shown that Aknosom will come with a new backstep and somersault attack, while Tigrex will be able to combo its biting attacks with spin attacks, something that will make this monster even more difficult to fight. No other monster’s Master Rank version has been shown, but we can expect everyone to be way scarier than it used to be in High Rank. Time to start fearing the Elder Dragons once again, fellow hunters!
