Who is the Giant Skeleton in Clash Royale

The Giant Skeleton is a single-target, melee troop with high hitpoints and moderate damage, hitting only ground units with slow attacks. The Giant Skeleton is an Epic rarity card that is unlocked through P.E.K.K.A.’s Playhouse (Arena 4), that was released on January 4, 2016.

If defeated, he drops a bomb which deals moderate damage after 3 seconds in a small radius, and further deals double damage to Crown Towers.

His appearance is that of a colossal skeleton wearing a brown (team-colored in-game) ushanka along with a large gunpowder barrel on his back and a bomb in his hand. A Giant Skeleton card costs 6 Elixir to deploy.

How to use The Giant Skeleton in Clash Royale

The Giant Skeleton serves best as a meat shield for other troops, which also makes him a great buffer for spawner buildings, since any unit that takes out the Giant Skeleton will be taken out by his bomb while the spawner creates troops.

Make sure to utilize The Giant Skeleton’s death bomb to its fullest by having it defeated where enemy troops are huddled together, as it will severely weaken them, if not outright kill them.

Since The Giant Skeleton moves slow while also having low DPS, players would ideally have to support him with splash damage troops, like the Wizard or Witch, which gives him more of a chance to connect with the Tower.

A dependable method to ensure that The Giant Skeleton reaches the Tower is to deploy him with the Skeleton Army. The Skeleton Army will surround The Giant Skeleton and kill any swarms sent out to surround him, which is great, since The Giant Skeleton is easily countered by swarms.
