A new season is here and Fortnite has brought us some new toys to play with. A brand new vehicle is now in the game—the tank! Tanks have 2,500 health which, of course, can be replenished with the new Repair Torch just introduced. They also require fuel like any other vehicle in Fortnite. The mini-gun atop the tank deals 35 damage and fires at a fast rate, easily ripping through enemies. The only issue with that is the fact that a solo player cannot drive and use the mini-gun at the same time. They can, however, fire the cannon at players and structures.
The tank can hold a full squad, but they are not without their weaknesses. Each squad member can be shot at while riding the tank, with the driver being exposed after the front bronze panel is damaged. The tanks can also be immobilized when their tracks are shot off, or the back is repeatedly targeted, overheating the tank. Tank Locations in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2
Each tank can currently be found at IO bases where airships can be seen. The main locations discovered so far are:
Rocky Reels
Condo Canyon
The Daily Bugle
Tilted Towers
The Fortress
Command Cavern
Those are the 6 main areas you are guaranteed to find a tank in this season of Fortnite. Remember: if you see an airship in the sky, there is going to be a tank nearby! Good luck!
