In Disney Dreamlight Valley, you will find Crackling Candies from a chest found deep inside the Vitalys Mines that you come across while progressing Scar’s story quest, Nature and Nurture. That aside, you unlock Nature and Nurture automatically, granted you have the Sunlit Plateau area unlocked and have completed Mother Gothel’s “The Curse” quest.
During the Nature and Nurture quest, when you arrive at the area with an elevated path and a few minecarts, take the elevated way and interact with the nearby sign. Doing so will progress the quest. Next, keep moving forward inside the mines, and you will eventually cross paths with a chest that rewards you with:
- Crackling Candies
- Ginger Root
- Root Beer recipe
The Crackling Candies is a quest item you need to further progress Scar’s Nature and Nurture quest. You must place it in the Red Barrel inside the Vitalys Mines, along with Root Beer.
