Where Does Elden Ring Take Place? – Answered

Elden Ring takes place in The Lands Between, a vast domain that is ruled by Queen Marika the Eternal, and blessed by the Elden Ring, a powerful object that gave strength to the Erdtree and granted prosperity to the land. After becoming the ruler of the Lands Between, Queen Marika married Godfrey, first Elden Lord, with whom she had multiple children, known as the Demigods.

Peace and prosperity in the Lands Between did not last long, unfortunately, as, for reasons unknown, the Elden Ring was shattered, and the Golden Order guarded by Queen Marika destroyed. In the attempt to restore the Elden Ring by recovering its shards held by the Demigods, Tarnished who were once exiled from the lands are beckoned by blessed guidance to return. Among these Tarnished is you: will you be able to defeat the Demigods and become the new Elden Lord? Venture into the Lands Between to find out if you have what it takes to become a legend.
