While the Genshin Impact 2.7 update still hasn’t received an official release date, we already have players eager to know what they can expect to see in Genshin Impact 2.8 update—all thanks to the leaks that began surfacing starting May 16th over social media.

[Update on May 21, 2022] Genshin Impact 2.7 update will release on May 31, 2022. Based on the 42 days release pattern, we can say Genshin Impact 2.8 update will release on July 13, 2022.

Original post continues: At the time of writing this article, Genshin Impact 2.7 update is delayed, and there are no signs of its official release. Genshin Impact 2.8 update will release 42 days after the version 2.7 update. We may even see delays in the version 2.8 update’s launch.

Until and unless we get the official release date for Genshin Impact 2.7 update, we cannot say anything about the version 2.8 update’s official release. 

We are still waiting for HoYoverse to update the status of the Genshin Impact 2.7 update’s release. For now, all we can say is that Genshin Impact 2.8 update will release sometime in the last weeks of July 2022.
