What Will Genshin Impact Players be Compensated With For the 2.7 Delay

Genshin Impact has been doing great since its release, as developer HoYoverse has been steadily providing new content via free updates.

Unfortunately, trouble sometimes happens which forces the delay of new content. Due to the current pandemic and the situation in Shangai, where HoYoverse is mainly based, the next big Genshin Impact update, update 2.7, has been delayed indefinitely.

Thankfully, players will be getting new items every week to make up for the delay and the unexpected wait. Here’s what players will be getting.

What Will Genshin Impact Players be Compensated With For the 2.7 Delay

As confirmed by HoYoverse on its official website, from May 5, 2022, all players with Adventure Rank 5 or above will receive compensation every week. Here are the items that will be given out for free:

• Primogem x400
• Fragile Resin x1
• Hero’s Wit x7
• Mystic Enhancement Ore x16
• Mora x120,000

If the period between the release of update 2.7 and the previous week’s compensation is less than a full week, the rewards will be adjusted accordingly. All compensation also has to be claimed before the end of Version 2.6.

While the Genshin Impact 2.7 update delay confirmation is disappointing, it is nice to see the developer trying to make up for it, even if the delay was caused by circumstances outside their control.
