Roblox is a widely popular game creation system and online game platform available on multiple PC, Mobile, Xbox, macOS, Fire OS, and Classic Mac OS. About millions of young players play community made games on a daily basis. Roblox is the name that became popular in the past years. The platform had a different name that not many were aware of.

Roblox Original Name

Roblox was originally called DynaBlocks when it was still in the beta phase. The co-founders David Baszucki and Erik Cassel created the beta version of Roblox in 2004 under the name of DynaBlocks.

However, the name was hard to remember and so it was renamed after one year. In 2005, DynaBlocks name was changed to Roblox. Since then the online game platform and game creation system DynaBlocks is called Roblox. That most of us know about.

At current, Roblox is a billion-dollar company that hosts millions of users and thousands of different genre games. Recently, on March 27, 2021, around a million people from all around the world joined virtually for the 8th Annual Bloxy Awards. The event was big, lasted long, full of performances, great people, a list of awards and nominations and free rewards.

Roblox is an online game platform and game creation system currently available on PC, Xbox One, Android, iOS, macOS, Fire OS, and Classic Mac OS.
