Elden Ring is an open-world action role-playing developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment.
Just like Bloodborne, Demon’s Souls, Sekiro, and the Dark Souls series, Elden Ring was directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki. The caveat here is that the game was made in collaboration with the award-winning fantasy novelist and source material creator for the highly popular Game of Thrones television show, George R. R. Martin, who provided a lot of source material for the game’s setting.
Elden Ring was released for Microsoft Windows, Steam Deck, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on February 25, 2022.
The Soulsborne games are known for their difficulty level, and Elden Ring is no exception. One of the questlines in the game that is quite long and taxing is the Seluvis questline.
Seluvis
Seluvis is an NPC who can teach players sorceries, but he won’t until players complete a quest for him. He goes to the extent of not telling the player anything at all, refusing to talk until the quest is complete. He asks players to take a potion and deliver it to Nepheli Loux, linking Seluvis’s Questline to the Nepheli Loux Questline.
Players will first need to find Nepheli Loux, either in the Roundtable Hold or in the Village of the Albinaurics, depending on the player’s progress in other questlines. It’s at the Roundtable Hold where players will receive dialogue options about the potion.
However, in some cases, Seluvis just refuses to give you the potion. When does that happen and why, and how does the player continue the questline?
What to do if Seluvis does not give the Potion
If players progress too far with Ranni’s questline, it is possible that Seluvis may just not be present to give players the potion. This can be easily remedied by returning to Roundtable Hold and speaking to Nepheli Loux’s father, Gideon Ofnir, in the library to get the potion.
