In this game, duelists traditionally get rewards after they’ve won a battle either by playing the game online or offline. Comeback Victories on the other hand, yield greater rewards. It’s a duel where at the commencement of your turn, you have less life points than your opponent.

However, within that same turn, you defeat that opponent even if they initially have more life points than you at the start of a match. This is simply what a Comeback Victory means.

Additionally, since Comeback Victories come with a 2,500 point reward in the Duel Assessment Score, as opposed to the traditional 2,000 point reward for Duel Victory, these sorts of wins can be great for getting as many Gate card rewards as possible, even against Duelists.

To achieve a Comeback Victory in Duel Links, players must come out on top in a duel in which the winner had less Life Points than the loser upon the start of the final turn. For instance, If the winning player had 1,000 Life Points at the start of the final turn, but the losing duelist had 2,000 Life Points to begin, that’s a Comeback Victory.
