What Does Maw of Malmortius do in Hearthstone

As a fast-paced strategy and digital collectible card game, Hearthstone offers some very interesting hero classes with one of them being Maw of Malmortius.

While he’s not the best hero card there is, he still provides less effective health against magic damage more than anti-damage and dedicated damage defensive items like Spirit Visage.

Maw of Malmortius also has an advantage of not sacrificing offensive potential, which lets an AD champion to better recover from behind when facing an enemy AP champion. So in this article we’ll be telling you Maw of Malmortius can do in Hearthstone.

Note that Maw of Malmortius has a rather useless passive against many AD champions, while his other aforementioned defensive items still give effective HP and sustain to use against an enemy AD, even though the magic resistance isn’t useful.

Although, that can be significant during the mid game if you aren’t preparing an armor item against them, or if the enemy AD champion is fed. Choosing wisely between those items can overcome this issue.

Maw of Malmortius has a +55 attack damage, +20 ability haste and +50 magic resistance.

He also has a unique ability known as lifeline. This allow him to take magic damage that would reduce your total health below 30%. There’s also a Triggering Lifeline that grants 12% omnivamp for 5 seconds. After 2 seconds into the duration, taking or dealing damage refreshes this effect to 3 seconds.

Additionally, Maw of Malmortius helps attack damage-based champions against enemy teams with high amounts of magic damage.
